Supercar and Sports Car Charity Day at Goodwood

Tuesday 23rd September 2003 saw the Supercar and Sports Car Charity Day at Goodwood in aid of The Special Care Baby Unit at St Richards Hospital, Chichester. There was a healthy turn out of fare paying passengers vieing for rides in the spectacular array of machinery that turned up to wow the crowds! Hopefully loads of cash was raised, and certainly there were lots of grinning faces, so I'd guess everyone enjoyed themselves ;-) Thanks must go to Geoff Lowe at Creative Vinyls for his organising all the entertainment, and, of course, my friends at Flymagic for the opportunity to get some aerial shots of the lunchtime procession. As always, I've got loads of other pictures, so if you were there, and wonder if I've got a snap of your car, or if you'd like one of the pictures here in high resolution (3Mbs jpegs), then drop me an e-mail

The chicane exit provided great action all day
Don't look now, but I think there's someone following us!
At full chat down the pit straight....awesome sounds!
New trousers for the passenger please!
One or two brave souls even wanted to come for a ride in my little toy ;-)
A last minute briefing
Nice helmet mister.
A wing to die for........
First lap out, and I've not spun yet....unlike one or two others :-)
and you thought getting in and out of a Caterham was difficult!
As I said, a spectacular array of machinery turned up...
Shiv's couldn't help but get arty with the weather as good as it was.
straight and level out of the chicane.
Nice collection of accessories these come with ;-)
This is top of my Christmas list......donations gratefully recieved.
Courtesy of Flymagic, a bird's eye view of the lunchtime fun.
Funnily enough, Tiff didn't seem to be getting this sideways through the chicane?
Errr, hang on, you've not bought the Lambo yet, have you....I've changed my mind, this one will look better on my drive ;-).
Is that a grin on his face.....or is he about to be sick??
A few too many of these sadly, but I still managed enough track time to cook my brakes, and go home happy....
Three cheers for Geoff.....he looks a little flustered, I wonder why?
